Good morning, Hive community pet-lover friends.
I’ve come to you this morning with another new blog. My every morning starts with a beautiful cup of tea. While sipping tea, I enjoy the sweet morning sunlight and the gentle winter weather. Normally, I don’t write blogs in the morning, but today I felt like sitting in such a lovely weather and chatting with all of you.
There is another reason why my morning and my entire day feel so good now, and I want to introduce that reason to all of you. I have a pet cat. His name is Leo. Everyone calls him Leo or Lion. His fur color is a beautiful brown with stripes, and he looks like a lion, which is why I named him Leo. My cat has a very calm nature.
I enjoy a lot of time with him—we play together a lot. He is always with me, and we even sleep together.
Those who love cats and keep cats know how deep the affection can be. A voiceless animal slowly becomes like one’s own child. This gentle creature is very dear to us Muslims. Cats are considered pure animals. Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) loved cats. Because of this, keeping cats is halal for Muslims.
I have loved cats since childhood. When I was very young, I once had a cat. I took care of it, loved it, fed it, and played with it a lot. We became very close, but that bond didn’t last long. My grandmother left the cat far away in the city because it was very naughty. I was too young to understand how to train a pet, so after that I never thought about keeping a cat again.
After marriage, I decided to keep a cat.
By good fortune, my husband also loves cats and is interested in keeping one.
My Leo is one and a half years old. He eats cat food, fish, and boiled meat. He is potty-trained and uses the toilet. My family and I have become so used to him that we understand his behavior, movements, and language—and he understands us too.
In the afternoon, he goes out for walks, plays with birds and butterflies, and returns home on time.
However, a few days ago, he got into a fight with outside cats and was badly injured. Since then, I don’t let him go outside anymore. Sometimes he looks at the window and signals that he wants to go out, but he is very innocent. He gets beaten by other cats and comes back without fighting, running away in fear. So, brother, I don’t let him go outside anymore.
He wears a belt around his neck with three little bells. When he walks, the bells make a sound. When I sleep, he sleeps very peacefully inside the blanket. Just by looking at his photos, you can understand how calm he is.

My cat is a Persian and local mix, which is why he has grown quite big. He is only one and a half years old now—he will grow even more. How did you like my pet cat Leo? Please let me know in the comments. I will come back again with a new blog. Until then, I wish you all good health. Thank you everyone for reading my content and for supporting me. 🐾💛
