Bueno, aunque en estos momentos por cuestiones de espacio donde vivo no tengo una macota, siempre he estado rodeada de ellas y de diferentes especies. Hoy les mostrare una familia de ovejitas muy lindas de las cuales fui testigo de su nacimiento.
En casa de mis papás siempre hay animalitos, unos grandes como las vacas y otros pequeños como los gatitos, ni hablar de las gallinas, perros, pajaritos y por supuesto, los ovejos.
Ellos suelen ser animales dóciles, los que hemos criado en casa han sido siempre cariñosos y atentos a recibir y dar afecto, está en particular que se convirtió en mamá por segunda vez y de morochas, es la consentida de mi mamá. Ella es la que se come absolutamente lo que le sirvan, además de su porción diaria de pasto, agua, melaza o cualquier alimento como maíz.
Es demasiado comelona, con decirles que a veces siento que es la que más come en toda mi casa. El día que tuvo a sus pequeñas crías, a mi hermana menor, a mi pareja y a mí, nos tocó ayudarla con el parto. Todos estábamos muy nerviosos cuando de la nada comienza a parir, corrimos a colocarle una inyección que la ayuda a que todo el proceso ocurra bien y que logre expulsar por completo la placenta y evitar complicaciones.
Esta pequeña oveja se comportó como una guerrera, a pesar de que mi hermana la ayudo a sacarle la primera de las crías porque su cabeza estaba atascada de lo grande que era. Eso me dio miedito.
Al salir la primera ovejita casi completamente negra inmediatamente la limpio y empezó a pujar para parir la segunda, todo paso muy rápido y de pronto ya eran dos ovejitas lindas al lado de una mamá amorosa y atenta por atenderlas.
Por supuesto, nosotros felices de que todo halla salido bien, más fue el susto de que saliera bien todo que el tiempo que duro el nacimiento en sí. Ella boto su placenta y sus bebes al poco rato de nacidas se levantaron y empezaron la búsqueda férrea por la leche, buscaban entre las patas de su mami las téticas con su comidita.
Fue un gran día, una oportunidad única de ver la ceración de Dios en esta especie tan bonita, estas dos crías se suman a las otras 5 ovejas que hay en casa de mis papás.

They are usually docile animals, the ones we have raised at home have always been affectionate and attentive to receive and give affection, this one in particular that became a mom for the second time and is my mom's spoiled. She is the one who eats absolutely whatever she is served, in addition to her daily portion of grass, water, molasses or any food such as corn.
She is such a big eater that sometimes I feel she is the biggest eater in my house. The day she gave birth to her little pups, my younger sister, my partner and I had to help her with the delivery. We were all very nervous when all of a sudden she started to give birth, we ran to give her an injection that helps her so that the whole process goes well and that she is able to expel the placenta completely and avoid complications.
This little ewe behaved like a warrior, even though my sister helped her to take out the first of the offspring because her head was stuck because it was so big. That scared me to death.
When the first ewe came out almost completely black, she immediately cleaned her and started to push to give birth to the second one, everything happened very fast and suddenly they were already two beautiful ewes next to a loving and attentive mother to take care of them.
Of course, we were happy that everything went well, it was more of a scare that everything went well than the time it took for the birth itself. She dropped her placenta and her babies soon after they were born got up and began their fierce search for milk, they looked between their mommy's legs for the teats with their food.
It was a great day, a unique opportunity to see God's healing in this beautiful species, these two babies are added to the other 5 sheep that are in my parents' house.
