Hoy quiero presentarles a uno de los cuatro gatos que tengo en mi hogar, su nombre es Rayita.
Today I want to introduce you to one of the four cats that I have in my home, her name is Rayita.
Había una gata que vivía por los alrededores de mi edificio, Úrsula así la llamamos , la cual alimentábamos, era muy arisca queríamos atraparla para llevarla a esterilizar pero nunca pudimos, nos daba tristeza cada vez que la veíamos embarazada, pero nos dimos cuenta con el tiempo que sus crías nacían muerta o que su parto nunca llegaba a buen término.
There was a cat that lived around my building, Úrsula that's what we called her, which we fed, she was very surly we wanted to catch her to take her to sterilize but we never could, we were sad every time we saw her pregnant, but we realized with him time that their young were born dead or that their delivery never came to fruition.
Un día logramos verla con un gatito de muchos colores, al verlo nos alegramos ya que por fin tenía una cría sana, pero nuestra felicidad no duro mucho porque a la semana vimos a Úrsula débil no quería comer hicimos muchos intentos por atraparla y que la viera un veterinario pero todo esfuerzo fue en vano, hasta que llego un día que no apareció más, es allí que decidimos buscarle un hogar a su bebé. Mientras tanto le dábamos comida y tratábamos de ganar su confianza cosa que logramos a las semanas cuando por fin nos dejo acercar y tocarla.
One day we managed to see her with a kitten of many colors, when we saw it we were happy because she finally had a healthy baby, but our happiness did not last long because a week we saw a weak Úrsula she did not want to eat we made many attempts to catch her and see her a veterinarian but all efforts were in vain, until one day came when she no longer appeared, it is there that we decided to find a home for her baby. Meanwhile she gave her food and tried to gain her trust which we achieved within weeks when she finally let us about her and touch her.
Decidimos buscarle un hogar así que tomamos muchas fotos para mostrarla y que alguien se enamora de ella y la adoptara pero eso no sucedió.
We decided to find her a home so we took a lot of photos to show her and someone to fall in love with her and adopt her but that didn't happen.
Como ya nos había encariñado con ella decidimos nosotros acogerla y le pusimos por nombre Rayita.
As we had already become fond of her, we decided to host her and named her Rayita.
Rayita es la más chiquita de nuestros gatos, la más traviesa, la más glotona. Me asombra que siendo tan pequeña, coma tanto, siempre está pendiente de lo que dejan los demás gatos para comérselo muchas veces tengo que regañarle porque me preocupa que no vaya a caminar si no rodar.
Rayita is the smallest of our cats, the most mischievous, the most gluttonous. She amazes me that being so small she eats so much, she is always aware of what the other cats leave to eat it many times I have to scold her because she worries me that she will not walk if she does not roll.
Es la más consentida de toda la familia sobretodo de nuestra hija Andrea que la adora dice que cuando tenga su propio hogar se la va a llevar.
She is the most spoiled of the whole family, especially our daughter Andrea who adores her and says that when she has her own home she will take her away.
Rayita ya forma parte de nuestro hogar y nos alegra poder darle todo el cariño que no recibió su mamá y cambiar el destino que ella hubiera tenido sino la hubiéramos adoptado.
Rayita is already part of our home and we are happy to be able to give her all the love that her mother did not receive and change the destiny that she would have had if we had not adopted her.
Cuando veas a un animal de la calle trata de ayudarlo llevándolo a un refugio de animales, buscándole un hogar o dándole un poco de comida, no es culpa de ellos encontrarse en condición de calle, tú planificas...ellos no.
When you see a street animal, try to help it by taking it to an animal shelter, looking for a home or giving it some food, it is not their fault that they are in street condition, you plan ... they do not.
