âBrown girlâ / âRuskea tyttöâ
Today Daddy took photos of each of Muffinâs five puppies. Mommy kept telling him to hurry up because it was getting a bit late â apparently, the light was just barely still good enough (or so he claimed while adjusting his lens and lights for the fifteenth time). I wonât speculate, of course. But I will say that someone had been lounging quite comfortably for most of the day before remembering âoh yes, the photos!â
Muffin got quite worried when Mommy started taking her pups out of the box one by one. She kept sniffing around and following Mommy with those wide âdonât break themâ eyes. I stayed close, just in case. You never know with humans â sometimes they drop socks.

Here, you can see me watching over âPikkumustaâ â thatâs what Daddy calls her. Sheâs the smallest black pup, and yes, a total cutie. I wonât lie. Iâm a little jealous. These tiny girls are getting all the attention lately. And the boys too. Not one âgood girlâ for me all day.
âDewclaw boyâ / âKannuspoikaâ
The puppies did protest a bit though. Constant squeaking â like a drawer full of rubber ducks. Daddy says thatâs normal. I say itâs dramatic.

Still, I suppose theyâre doing well. Muffin seemed relieved once they were all back in the puppybox, and Daddy put the flashy thing away. And I got my spot on the couch back. So, peace was restored.

Iâll keep watching over them. After all, someone has to make sure this family project doesnât go entirely off the leash. And if there happens to be a treat or two in it for me later... well, I wouldnât protest.
