La gata de mi abuela es un ejemplo de las segundas oportunidades que nos brinda la vida, casi muere en el ciclón tropical "Ian", que azotó nuestro país hace casi un año. Durante el ciclón se asustó mucho y escapó de la casa, al salir nuevamente el sol, mi abuela la encontró con un golpe en la cara, había perdido mucha sangre y estaba muy débil.

Poco a poco se fué recuperando gracias a los cuidados de mi abuela, que la complace en todo, a veces creo que la quiere más que a mí. Mi abuela es de esas personas que por imposible que parezca algo, no deja de luchar por conseguirlo.

Actualmente la gatita está totalmente recuperada, muy fuerte, y hace poco dió a luz a unos pequeños que corretean por toda la casa. Demostrando que cuando la vida te da una segunda oportunidad, hay que aferrarse a ella y no dejarla ir.
