Nyeolie, my cat's name, was once a stray cat found by my little brother on a canal alongside our Baranggay's main road. She was so tiny back then, her stomach was unnaturally bloated, and she got scars all around her back. I remember when my mother saw it too, being a fur parent also I know the look on her eyes when she saw Nyeolie, she was concerned because the kitten was all alone, so there we decided to adopt her.

She was afraid and messy at first, the first week when she was brought to our house, she climbed furiously on a mango tree, and next was she brought a dead rat and placed it on our main door. HAHA! I cannot enumerate all her craziness, but she is one of a kind. I decided to train her and as expected she is undeniably smart. However, there was that time when she almost died because she was infested, maybe due to the reason when she was on the canal. I was really sad because we cannot afford to bring her to the vet at that time, thankfully I researched and got home remedies for her.
Nyeolie had experienced criticisms as well with regards to her race and breed. There were some people who belittled her because she was 'only' a PusPin (Pusang Pinoy). But I believe that there is nothing wrong being a PusPinoy, it's still a unique breed, it's a Philippines' cat breed, the people who questions and belittles breed are the ones who are wrong, they were wrong. Little did they know she is more than anything and nothing can be ever compare to her.
She's five-month-old now. She looks even healthier, prettier, and became cuter. She loves her cat food so much, however, we could not afford it from time to time so we trained her to eat cooked rice and fish.
She lays with me to sleep, and she loves to bath! I told you, she's one of a kind. When I will call her by her name even if she's far away from our house, she will be there in my front a minute later. She is clingy and loves to sleep all the time. She's a friend with our four dogs also, and loves to play with them (meooowwww). I captured this photo earlier in the afternoon on my bed, she has been sleeping since morning!
