Aqua-scaping is hard
For a while now I've been somewhat winding down my old 200L tank since my last fish in it died. Given it's empty I've decided to move over the rocks that were in it to my main tank.
This is the tank as it is now. It's actually a lot nicer than before, there was a lot of very dark dreary things in there before and it was also a miss match of random crap I had accumulated over the years. Decent decorations are actually quite expensive and buying new rock very quickly adds up.
This looks a bit like a skeleton
It's quite interesting how this rock kinda resembles a skull, add in a rock giving the illusion of a spine and a random rock for just.. extra-ness and it looks pretty cool!
The original rocks!
This is the original rocks that have always been in this tank, I used to make an archway between these to but now I can use the wood in the middle to make the archway and have a spare rock to just... be a rock.
The new cave... sorta.
Honestly it's just rocks on rocks.. arranged in no particular way but to create some height as well as little cave like areas for the fish who like that sort of thing.
Future plans
I have a very expensive light that I'll be fitting when I build a new lid for the tank, after that it's potentially get more fish or focus on what to do with the 200L tank.. since it's empty I have lots of options.
Also plants... maybe.. goldfish murder plants but I only have one now and not like 5.. so there is potential there too.
