Hola amigos, ¿Qué tal están? Hoy les estaré mostrando mi participación para el 1er concurso en Hive Pets Community, el cual consiste en crear un logo y un banner para la comunidad. Finalmente hay un espacio en Hive para hablar de los seres que nos roban el corazón y que nos demuestran su cariño incondicional, nuestras adoradas mascotas ❤️🐾 . En una próxima publicación les estaré presentando a mi perrito Bruno, pero por ahora, comencemos con este post.
Hello friends, how are you? Today I will be showing you my participation in the 1st contest at Hive Pets Community, which consists of creating a logo and a banner for the community. Finally there is a space in Hive to talk about the creatures that steal our hearts and show us their unconditional love, our beloved pets ❤️🐾 . In a future publication I will be introducing you to my dog Bruno, but for now, let's start with this post.
El logo y el Banner los realicé en la aplicación CANVA, utilizando material gráfico gratuito. Lo primero que hice fue colocar un fondo verde, que pensé que podría cambiar mas adelante. Busqué stickers de distintas mascotas y los fui ubicando al borde del logo. Mi idea era representar en el logo a cualquier tipo de mascota, y no únicamente a un perro o a un gato. Además, oculté las caritas de los animales escogidos para que los integrantes de la comunidad Hive Pets Community puedan identificar allí a sus propias mascotas, sus personalidades, gestos y humor. Así, en el logo solo podrían verse un par de orejas, una cola, o unas alas, por ejemplo.
I made the logo and the Banner in the CANVA application, using free graphic material. The first thing I did was to put a green background, which I thought I could change later. I looked for stickers of different pets and placed them at the border of the logo. My idea was to represent in the logo any kind of pet, and not only a dog or a cat. In addition, I hid the faces of the chosen animals so that the members of the Hive Pets Community could identify their own pets, their personalities, gestures and humor there. Thus, the logo could only show a pair of ears, a tail, or wings, for example.
En el fondo coloqué un corazón en un tono marrón, y sobre este otro corazón en verde claro. Busqué entre los stickers unas patitas para colocar en el fondo del corazón, y añadí el nombre de la comunidad en una letra cursiva, utilizando colores negro y azul.
In the background I placed a heart in a brown tone, and over this other heart in light green. I searched among the stickers for a pair of paws to place on the heart's background, and added the community's name in italics, using black and blue colors.
Para el banner, simplemente utilicé la herramienta redimensionar que me permite transformar las dimensiones del logo en otro tipo de trabajo, en este caso escogí las dimensiones de un banner para un blog. Para el banner "descubrí" las caras de todas las mascotas que aparecen en el logo, y las dispuse de tal forma que diera la impresión de que están viendo haciendo el nombre de la comunidad. Además, agregué otros stickers como unas olas, una rama de un árbol y unas patitas. Y listo!
For the banner, I simply used the resize tool that allows me to transform the dimensions of the logo in another type of work, in this case I chose the dimensions of a banner for a blog. For the banner I "discovered" the faces of all the mascots that appear in the logo, and arranged them in such a way that it gives the impression that they are seeing making the name of the community. Also, I added other stickers like some waves, a tree branch and some paws. And that's it!

¿Qué les parece los diseños que realicé? La verdad es que no sé nada de diseño gráfico, pero sin duda la herramienta CANVA nos permite utilizar nuestra imaginación y creatividad al máximo. Le dedico este trabajo a mi perrito Bruno y aprovecho la oportunidad para comentar por aquí que si tenemos como mascota a un animal silvestre es importante mantenerlo bajo nuestro cuidado pues ya está domesticado, además, visitar al veterinario en caso de ser necesario, como lo haríamos con nuestros perros o gatos 🐹🐭🦉🐍🐦. Y... casi se me olvida, si está en tus posibilidades, no compres, adopta!! 💚💚🙋♀️
What do you think of the designs I made? The truth is that I know nothing about graphic design, but undoubtedly the CANVA tool allows us to use our imagination and creativity to the fullest. I dedicate this work to my little dog Bruno and I take the opportunity to comment here that if we have a wild animal as a pet it is important to keep it under our care because it is already domesticated, also, visit the vet if necessary, as we would do with our dogs or cats 🐹🐭🦉🐍🐦. And... I almost forgot, if it is in your possibilities, don't buy, adopt! 💚💚🙋
