We really love having these Runner Ducks around. They aren’t too much work and are absolutely hilarious to watch. Not to mention their eggs are delicious!! They do need access to fresh water and can easily make a muddy mess of things.
Is that enough poo for ya?
For some odd reason when it gets cold out duckies come up on the deck… and s#!+ everywhere! This is only 3 days worth of duckie dumps and they are frozen to the deck. Poo-Rocks… It must be warmer up by the house under the deck roof or something… It definitely isn’t warmer than their house I built them with a heat lamp inside…
We feel a little guilty keeping them locked in the back of the yard all the time but these pooping machines may need to be on lockdown.
During the summer we get a couple dumpies on the deck here and there. Which is easily sprayed off into the grass. When the temps are below freezing spraying the poo off would durn the back deck into a sheet of ice.
Today is a sunny cold day and the deck will have sun on it most of the day. The ducks let the poo fly all over the deck now it’s my turn to shoot the poo off the deck. Poo-Poo flying everywhere!!!
These turd nuggets are frozen solid and some need to be kicked loose
We normally have a rug on this section of the deck but a wind storm blew it across the yard. Then it snowed and my lazy ass didn’t want to go dig it out of the snow.
One time I went to go get the meat off the grill and slipped on the only duckie turd on the deck. Luckily I caught my balance and didn’t fall on my ass. Them duckie dumps are some seriously slippery s#!+.
So ya, I had a pretty s#!y morning cleaning up s#!+. Looking out the back sliding glass door seeing those poo squirts coving the deck was looking kind of trashy… or rather s#!y.
I’m gonna have to have a little talk with these duckies and tell them to keep their s#!+ off the deck.
I hope…
