Today I come to tell you about my little turtles, which live with us for a long time, they came the three separately thanks to my dad got them, the truth I do not know how, but since they are with us they live very happily, they live in a part of my house that has several bushes planted, There they eat, sleep and walk around all day, I think it is the perfect space for them to be because people usually keep those little animals in boxes or in small enclosed spaces, thank God we are lucky to have that space for them to exist peacefully.
The other day I wanted to see how they were and together with my sister we took them out to give them some lettuce and bathe them since there is dirt where they are, so we took the opportunity to give them a good bath and clean their shells, obviously very carefully and with little water to avoid hurting them. Something that caught my attention was to see how big they are, it is very crazy to see how they have grown since they arrived at my house! I think the reason for the different sizes is because they do not eat the same amounts, one of them is blind and it is difficult for her to find the food, that's why we are careful to give it to them ourselves.

El día de hoy les vengo a contar sobre mis tortuguitas, las cuales viven con nosotros desde hace mucho tiempo, ellas vinieron las tres por separado gracias a que mi papá las consiguió, la verdad no sé cómo, pero desde que están con nosotros viven muy felices, ellas habitan en una parte de mi casa que tiene varias matas sembradas, ahí comen, duermen y andan todo el día, creo que es el espacio perfecto para que estén porque las personas usualmente suelen tener a esos pequeños animalitos en cajas o en espacios pequeños muy cerrados, gracias a dios tenemos la suerte de tener ese espacio para que existan tranquilamente.
El otro día quise ver como estaban y junto con mi hermana las sacamos para darles algo de lechuga y bañarlas ya que en donde están hay tierra, por eso aprovechamos de darles un buen baño y limpiar su caparazón, obviamente esto con mucho cuidado y con poquita agua para evitar lastimarlas. Algo que me llamó mucho la atención fue ver lo grandes que están, es muy loco ver cómo han crecido desde que llegaron a mi casa! Creo que la razón de los tamaños diferentes es debido a que no comen las mismas cantidades, una de ellas es ciega y se le dificulta encontrar la comida, por eso estamos al pendiente de dársela nosotros mismos.
Among them there are three with very different personalities, there is the biggest one who is the most active, the medium one who is the one with the problem in the little eye and the one who has more time with us, and the smallest one who is new, that is to say, she has had little time living with us and somehow she is very shy and fearful, I always notice this because almost all the time she is hiding in her shell, maybe she doesn't like people very much hehehehe. I tell you that before there was another turtle, but one day we woke up and we did not get her, our theory is that she escaped and someone took her, from that moment we moved them to avoid that someone takes them again.
Entre ellas hay tres hay personalidades muy diferentes, está la más grande que es la más activa, la mediana que es la del problema en el ojito y la que tiene más tiempo con nosotros, y la más pequeña que es nueva, es decir, que tiene que poco tiempo viviendo con nosotros y que de alguna forma es muy tímida y miedosa, de esto me doy cuenta siempre porque casi todo el tiempo está escondida en su caparazón, quizás no le guste mucho la gente jejeje. Les cuento que antes había otra tortuguita más, pero un día despertamos y no la conseguimos, nuestra teoría es que se escapó y alguien se la llevó, desde ese momento las movimos de lugar para evitar que alguien se las lleve de nuevo.
After a little while bathing them it was time to feed them, my dad gave us some lettuce leaves (which is their favorite food) to feed them, obviously the biggest one wanted to devour them all, the little one didn't want to eat much, and the blind one was very very hungry, luckily I helped her and she ate a lot, my trick for her to eat is to put the food very close to her mouth, but very careful that she doesn't make a mistake and eat my finger hahaha.
Luego de un ratito bañándolas era momento de darles de comer, mi papá nos dio unas hojas de lechugas (que es su comida favorita) para alimentarlas, obviamente la más grande quería devorárselas todas, la pequeña no quiso comer mucho, y la cieguita tenía muuucha mucha hambre, por suerte la ayudé y comió bastante, mi truco para que coma es ponerle la comida muy cerca de su boca, aunque con mucho cuidado de que no se equivoque y se coma mi dedo jajaja.
While her sisters were eating, the youngest one wanted to explore her surroundings, when I was careless she was lost under any place, I think she wanted to go back to her little house hehehehe, apparently living together is not her thing!
Mientras sus hermanas comían, la más pequeña quiso explorar a sus alrededores, cuando me descuidaba estaba perdida por debajo de cualquier lugar, creo que ya quería regresar a su casita jejeje, al parecer convivir no es lo suyo!
One thing I like a lot is that maybe because they have been living with us for a while, they get along well with my pets, that is my dog Max and my kitty Solar, as I told you, the little one likes to explore and in one of those she ran into my kitty, Solar was very curious about the turtle, she was very attentive to her, as you can see I could capture that funny moment!
Una cosa que me gusta mucho es que quizás por tener un tiempo viviendo con nosotros, se llevan bien con mis mascotas, es decir mi perro Max y mi gatita Solar, como les conté, a la pequeña le gusta explorar y en una de esas se topó con mi gatita, a Solar le dio bastante curiosidad la tortuguita, estaba muy al pendiente de ella, como pueden ver pude captar ese divertido momento!
After eating and bathing it was time to go home, it was really great to take them out for a while and take some pictures for my hive pets friends to meet! I really enjoy having this amazing community meet my pets!!!!
