Esta es la historia de Paco, un gato muy querido en mi familia y que fue quien termino conquistando el corazón de mi mamá.
This is the story of Paco, a very beloved cat in my family and who ended up winning my mother's heart.
Paco vino a ser el parte de una segunda generación de gatos en mi familia. La primera fue cuando yo era pequeño, que en ese momento eran 3 gatos, y esta segunda que vino cuando yo fui adolescente.
Primero había llegado mi gato que se llamaba "Loto". Luego vino el gato de mi hermana que se llamaba "Quino". Y luego apareció el tercero, "Paco" quien era de mi hermano, pero algo paso entre Paco y mi mamá.
Resulta que mi mamá le gustaban más los perros que los gatos. No les daba mucha importancia a los gatos hasta que conoció a Paco. Paco la conquisto no solo por lo amoroso que era con ella, sino por esos hermosos ojos verdes, iguales a los de mi mamá. Desde que se conocieron hubo una química entre ellos dos. Mi mamá comenzó a sentir amor por los gatos, pero principalmente por este pequeño gato naranja de ojos verdes.
Paco became part of a second generation of cats in my family. The first was when I was little, which at that time were 3 cats, and this second one came when I was a teenager.
First my cat arrived, called "Loto." Then came my sister's cat, called "Quino." And then the third one appeared, "Paco," who belonged to my brother, but something happened between Paco and my mom.
It turns out that my mom liked dogs more than cats. She didn't give much importance to cats until she met Paco. Paco won her over not only because of how loving he was with her, but because of those beautiful green eyes, just like my mom's. From the moment they met, there was a chemistry between the two of them. My mom began to feel love for cats, but mainly for this little orange cat with green eyes.
Paco lo encontró mi papá en una veterinaria de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Aún recuerdo su llamado telefónico para preguntarnos si quería que llevara un nuevo gatito, ya que vio uno hermoso. La respuesta de todos nosotros fue Sí, pero faltaba el ok de mi mamá. Ella nos miró y asintió con la cabeza dando su aprobación. Y fue así que Paco, a la tarde, cuando volvía mi papá de trabajar, nos trajo con él a esta belleza de animal.
Paco no hablaba mucho, era más bien callado. De un carácter calmado, no se enojaba ni peleaba casi nunca. El cambio mucho su forma de ser cuando apareció un cuarto gato, un pequeño siamés. El tomo a ese gatito como si fuera su hermano menor y a donde iba uno, iba el otro.
Durante muchos años convivieron los 4 gatos junto a conejos y 2 grandes perros. Fue pura felicidad y amor. Falleció hace muchos años de viejito. Vivió lo que tenía que vivir. Pero lo más importante es que cambio la forma de pensar de mi mamá, y ahora mi mamá ADORA a los gatos. Ahora mismo tiene en su falda a mi príncipe, mi Bartolo, un hermoso siamés que pronto les mostraré fotos locas de él 🤭.
Quería contarles de esta hermosa mascota y lo importante que fue para nosotros, pero principalmente lo importante que fue para mi madre. 🥰
My dad found Paco at a veterinary clinic in Buenos Aires. I still remember his phone call to ask if we wanted him to bring a new kitten, since he saw a beautiful one. All of our answers were yes, but my mom's OK was missing. She looked at us and nodded her approval. And so, in the afternoon, when my dad came home from work, Paco brought us this beautiful animal with him.
Paco didn't talk much, he was rather quiet. He had a calm personality, he hardly ever got angry or fought. He changed his way of being a lot when a fourth cat appeared, a small Siamese. He took that kitten as if it were his younger brother and wherever one went, the other followed.
For many years the 4 cats lived together with rabbits and 2 big dogs. It was pure happiness and love. He passed away many years ago as an old man. He lived what he had to live. But the most important thing is that he changed my mom's way of thinking, and now my mom LOVES cats. Right now she has my prince on her lap, my Bartolo, a beautiful Siamese that I will soon show you crazy photos of him 🤭.
I wanted to tell you about this beautiful pet and how important he was to us, but mainly how important he was to my mother. 🥰
