Hey amigos como están?, hace muchos meses atrás quizás 5 o 6 encontramos unos gatitos abandonados en la calle, estaban en una caja, y yo le comente a mi papá, así que decidimos rescatarlos de allí y darlos en adopción. La vedad no sé cuanto tiempo tenían de nacidos pero estaban muy sucios, yo los limpie con algunas toallas húmedas y al día siguiente les buscamos un hogar, por que mi casa es muy pequeña incluso para tener 2 gatos, uno de ellos era macho y una hembra, dos hermanitos de color negros y ojos verdes muy bonitos.
Hey friends, many months ago maybe 5 or 6 months ago we found some abandoned kittens in the street, they were in a box, and I told my dad, so we decided to rescue them from there and put them up for adoption. The truth I don't know how long they were born but they were very dirty, I cleaned them with some wet towels and the next day we looked for a home for them, because my house is too small even to have 2 cats, one of them was male and one female, two little black brothers with very pretty green eyes.
Al momento de llevarlos estaban muy desesperados por salir de la caja, la cual les había cambiado por que la otra estaba muy sucia, donde los encontré.
El día que se quedaron en mi casa lloraron toda la noche, y no fue por falta de alimento por que les di un poco de leche tibia que tenia, ademas tenían algunas pulgas y lo primero que debían hacer era comprarles un shampoo para eliminarlas, ademas de darles un buen baño pero cuando estuvieran mas grandes.
Del mismo modo lloraron en todo el viaje hacia su nuevo hogar, trataban de salir y explorar el interior de la camioneta incluso uno de ellos se metió bajo los asientos hasta que lo saque de allí y se veían un poco asustados como desorientados.
When I took them there they were very desperate to get out of the box, which I had changed because the other one was very dirty, where I found them.
The day they stayed at my house they cried all night, and it was not for lack of food because I gave them some warm milk that I had, they also had some fleas and the first thing to do was to buy a shampoo to eliminate them, besides giving them a good bath but when they were older.
In the same way they cried all the way to their new home, they were trying to get out and explore the inside of the van, even one of them got under the seats until I took him out and they looked a little scared and disoriented.
Casi al llegar los deje salir de la caja, y comenzaron a jugar entre ellos, ya no estaba llorando y estaban quietos, sus miradas de miedo se había ido. Y ahora solo estaban jugando como dos pequeños hermanos.
Almost as soon as I arrived I let them out of the box, and they started to play with each other, they were no longer crying and were quiet, their looks of fear were gone. And now they were just playing like two little brothers.
Como yo los acaricie todo el día, no estoy seguro si por este motivo buscaban trepar por mi pierna y llegar hacia arriba hasta mi franela, allí se quedaban recostados, como si estuviesen sanos y salvos, igualmente volvía a acariciarlos hasta que cerraban los ojos, eran realmente tiernos.
Luego de esto los entregue a sus respectivas casas, estaba muy separados entre si, pero sus nuevos dueños prometieron cuidarlos bien.
As I caressed them all day, I am not sure if for this reason they tried to climb up my leg and reach up to my flannel, there they stayed lying down, as if they were safe and sound, I also caressed them again until they closed their eyes, they were really cute.
After this I delivered them to their respective homes, they were very separated from each other, but their new owners promised to take good care of them.
Varios días después la nueva dueña de uno de los gatitos fue a visitarnos, y pude ver que realmente quería a este gato, lo tenia sobre ella como si fuese un bebé cargado y lo dormía sobre su pecho.
Several days later the new owner of one of the kittens came to visit us, and I could see that she really loved this cat, she held him on her like a baby in a carrier and slept him on her chest.
Ayer me recordé de los gatitos y le pedí que me enviara fotos para ver que tanto habían crecido y me sorprendió por que están enormes, muy bien cuidado y alimentado.
Yesterday I remembered the kittens and asked him to send me pictures to see how much they have grown and I was surprised because they are huge, very well cared for and fed.
Así que todos podemos contribuir con las mascotas, si no podemos tenerlos en nuestras casas, podemos darlos en adopción a personas que deseen tener una mascota con ellos, o llevarlos a refugios, los animales no merecen vivir en las calles, y mas aun cuando están tan pequeños.
Esta es una lección que aprendí con los pequeños gatitos, quizás si yo no los fueses rescato fueran muerto, así que yo cambie eso para que estuvieran mejor.
So we can all contribute with the pets, if we can't have them in our homes, we can give them for adoption to people who want to have a pet with them, or take them to shelters, animals don't deserve to live in the streets, and even more when they are so small.
This is a lesson I learned with the little kittens, maybe if I didn't rescue them they would be dead, so I changed that so they would be better off.
