I've kept a close eye on her, since she seems more resilient, even though she has more fur and is a bit heavier.
However, something peculiar happens with Oddie (I don't know if it's common). He's always had sensitive skin, ever since he was rescued as a puppy. Even so, the heat triggers severe allergic reactions; his skin turns red, something that didn't happen when he scratched normally. Now the itching is much more intense. So I had to go to the vet, who prescribed desloratadine. Goodness, it wasn't enough that I was allergic, and my sister, my nephew, and my dad were too—that's the only thing we inherited from our father's side of the family, allergies—and now my dog has the same thing.
Anyway, I went to the pharmacy the next day and started his treatment, although he hasn't finished it yet. His skin isn't as red as before, he still scratches, but I figured that was also because he was dirty. So, this weekend, I bathed him—well, I tried to bathe him, because as I mentioned, after a year and a half of bathing normally with us, for the last few months he hasn't wanted to bathe at all. I don't know what's wrong with him and the water. I have no idea if something happened to him while he wasn't in the water, since he doesn't like being wet with it, even though I use lukewarm water, nothing works. He gets really angry.

Por lo que tuve que recurrir al doctor, esta vez le recetó desloratadina; por Dios ya era suficiente que yo fuese alérgica, mi hermana, mi sobrino y mi papá también, pues eso fue lo que único que heredamos de la familia paterna, ser alérgicos, para que viniera mi perrito y tuviese lo mismo.
En fin, fui a la farmacia el día siguiente y le comencé su tratamiento, aunque no lo ha terminado, ya la piel no está tan roja como antes, aún se rasca, pero suponía que era también porque estaba sucio. Así que, este fin de semana, lo bañe, bueno un intento de bañarlo, porque como he comentado, ahora luego de año y medio con nosotros bañándose normal, de unos meses para acá no se quiere bañar, no sé que le pasa con el agua, no tengo idea si le paso algo mientras no estaba con el agua, ya que no le gusta que lo moje con la misma, y eso que se la pongo tibia y nada, no hay forma, se pone como una fiera.
Aun así, algo ahí logré sacarle de sucio, siento que, si le quedó un poquito de champú, pero es que a punta de trapos es difícil, pero es la única manera que he logrado que acepte el baño, a medias, aunque es mejor que nada, mientras lo vuelvo adaptar al baño. En la semana, le pasé un baño en seco y toallitas para mascotas para terminar de quitar sucio a las partes que no pude con el agua.
