Hello to all the members of the Hive pets community, I hope you are well. This is my first post in this community and I can't find a better time to do it than on my beloved pet Yira's birthday.
Since I was a little girl I have always loved pets, especially dogs. I love those beings that start wagging their tails as soon as they see you, or that detect your scent from a long distance when you are coming from the street and come out to greet you.

Hola a todos los integrantes de la comunidad de Hive pets, espero que estén bien. Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y no encuentro mejor momento para hacela que en el cumpleaños de mi amada mascota Yira.
Desde pequeña siempre me han gustado mucho las mascotas, en especial los perros. Amo a esos seres que comienzan a mover la cola nada más verte, o que detectan tu olor a larga distancia cuando estás llegando de la calle y salen a recibirte.
Throughout my life I have only had the opportunity to have 2 dogs as pets and that's because when I was 6 years old I had my first one, he was a dachshund and I named him Tobi. He was the naughty little one in the house. We all loved him very much, but unfortunately one day a disease called "Canine Distemper" spread and he died. This brought me great sadness, so my parents decided that they would not bring any more pets until he was older and understood things better.
A lo largo de mi vida solo he tenido la oportunidad de tener 2 perritos de mascotas y es debido a que a los 6 años tuve el primero, era una salchicha el cual le puse como nombre Tobi. Ese era el pequeño travieso de la casa. Todos lo amábamos mucho, pero desafortunadamente un día se esparció una enfermedad llamada "Moquillo canino" y murió. Esto me trajo una gran tristeza, por lo que mis papás decidieron que no traerían más mascotas hasta que estuviera más grande y comprendiera mejor las cosas.

And it was not until November 11, 2021 that Yira arrived at our home, the most spoiled of this house, my great companion and caregiver. I remember she could fit in one hand, and she was always sleeping -I even thought she might be sick- but after a few months she became so energetic that I think she is the most energetic dog there is😂.
Y no es hasta el 11 de noviembre del 2021 que llega a nuestro hogar Yira, la más malcriada de esta casa, mi gran compañera y cuidadora. Recuerdo que me cabía en una mano, y siempre estaba durmiendo -llegue a pensar que podría estás enferma- pero al cabo de unos meses ya se espabiló de tal manera que creo que es la perra con más energía que hay 😂.
She is already 2 years old and I think it was only yesterday when my older sister brought her to my house and said "here is your new pet for you to take care of and look after".
Ya cumple 2 años y me parece que fue ayer cuando mi hermana mayor me la trajo hasta la casa y me dijo "aquí tienes tu nueva mascota para que la cuides y atiendas".
What I didn't know at that moment was that Yira was going to be the cause of much laughter and fun in the house, the creator of many anecdotes that, in spite of having been scolded a few times, we remember today as something very funny.I had to give her a good bath to make her white again.
Lo que yo no sabía en ese momento es que Yira iba a que el motivo de muchas risas y diversión en la casa, la creadora de muchas anécdotas que, a pesar de haberse llevado algunos regaños, hoy las recordamos como algo muy gracioso.
Recuerdo un día que se escapó para la calle, entro en el jardín de una vecina y regreso llena de tierra. Tube que darle un buen baño para que volviera a estar blanquita.
You can't know how much you love a pet until you have them and live with them. They are often the joy of the house, the time to de-stress and even your emotional support.
