We’re visiting friends this evening and I decided to take along a yummy cake with vanilla custard. Max just couldn’t hold back any longer and absolutely loved licking the wooden spoon!!! You see the cake has a home made caramel topping that is to die for!
Max stole the show and Minki didn’t even stand a chance of getting one little lick of the tasty spoon.
Can you see the little bite marks in the spoon where Max stole it from me the last time? My Chihuahuas are both like my shadows constantly following me around the kitchen waiting for tidbits to drop.
The cake turned out wonderfully and now we’re just waiting to head out. But these two are going to have to stay home tonight. They sometimes get up to mischief but I reckon with the cold weather they will curl up on the couch and nap all evening.
In 5 days we celebrate 1 whole year since we adopted these two treasures. I don’t understand how anyone could have given them up, but now they are spoilt rotten and loved on all day. We will have to do a celebration post next week too!
