🔸Hello, dear community friends. I just joined this community, hopefully it will be welcome as well as others who have already joined. because I also want to share something unique that maybe people have never seen out there. and hope this is not my last post in this community.
So, in my first post this time. I want to show you one kind of insect that is very charming.
🔸Army caterpillar "Spodoptera frugiperda"🐛🦠
Scientific classification
•Kingdom: Animalia
•Phylum: Arthropods
•Class: Insecta
•Order: Lepidoptera
•Family: Noctuidae
•Genus: Spodoptera
Spodoptera are moths belonging to the Noctuidae. The larvae (caterpillars) are known as very damaging pests. Caterpillars that are hairless by laypeople are commonly called army caterpillars or armyworms.
In Indonesia, the main grayak caterpillars are Spodoptera exigua. (greenish-brown larvae) and S. litura (brown larvae). Grayak caterpillars live below ground level during the day and actively eat plant shoots at night. The attack can be so severe that overnight it can consume a crop, and is therefore known as an "army caterpillar".
Likewise, this caterpillar has a very attractive color on the body with unique color spots.
From the unique color that he has this makes me interested in him. and I'm sure people out there are also interested if you see the uniqueness of this caterpillar.
when I was heading to my father's garden. This caterpillar had stopped my foot movements. And I immediately took the picture with the OPPO A1K mobile phone that I equipped with Macro Lens in the camera phone.
Because, I think, very unique, and right if I want to show it to the outside world about its uniqueness. Thank you for taking a little time to read this article. hopefully useful and entertained. I say thousands of thanks for all the support you provide. see you in the next episot.
