This week also saw the PUD (Power Up Day) in which almost 300k $HIVE tokens were staked, or what we call HP (Hive Power). This action of staking the token is called Power Up or just PU, and with that, the more HP, the more voting power and influence within the network.
I'm happy to see that so many people participated, especially since we were trying to break the record of 951 distinct accounts that have ever done PU in a PUD. Anyway, this November, we broke the record for accounts doing this in the year. Maybe in December we can break the all-time record, why not try?

Well, cryptocurrencies and their respective communities don't only experience good times. We know that cryptocurrencies depend heavily on those who believe in them; let's say they become more valuable according to the faith and trust placed in them, and so it is with Hive.
These are uncertain times in various ecosystems, but we remain strong and faithful, believing that everything will be alright. Bem, nem só de momentos bons vivem as criptomoedas e suas respectivas comunidades. Sabemos que as criptomoedas dependem muito de quem acredita nelas, digamos que eles se tornam mais valorosos de acordo com a sua fé e sua confiança depositada e assim, com a Hive não é diferente.
O momento é de incertezas em vários ecossistemas, mas nós seguimos fortes e fieis, acreditando que tudo irá ficar bem, afinal, segurar tokens, colocar em stake, participar, engajar, tudo isso vale para a Hive. Nem sempre a nossa força está no valor do token e sim no valor da comunidade.
Momentos complicados, em que o valor do token $HIVE desce muito em seu preço, também é o melhor momento para adquirir e realizar o Power UP, ou seja, colocar o token em stake.
