Change in The Weather
Getting to a certain age.
There's change in the weather.
You don't feel the same way about things.
Some things.
The opposite sex for instance.
I used to desire them so much of the time.
Now I don't.
Other thoughts on my mind.
Other matters.
Also, a lot less energy for pursuits.
Which means—priorities get top billing, versus non-priorities.
Selectivity is the key.
Refining the procedures down to their simplest terms.
The most functional—again gets top billing.
After all this time you should be able to cut to the chase.
Make fast work of a situation.
Bottom line it.
Experience plus innovation equals a superior way of operation.
Direct and efficient.
Enough trumpet tooting.
What becomes truly important becomes truly humorous.
Staying warm.
Not getting hungry.
Getting enough sleep and rest.
Getting chores done on time.
Then it comes down to spending your life in a quality way.
Doing things you really care about.
That matter to you.
Sand is slipping quickly through the hourglass.
As the bird of time flaps those wings.
And the weather continues to change.
