If I could plan my perfect weekend well I would say I had its planned already and that was last weekend so my best friend looks her uncle and her grandmother and she invited me for the burial which was last week so we travel down to her village on Wednesday evening.
This is my entry for India United weekly prompt and the topic is. (My Perfect Weekend: If I Could Plan It My Way) it was just my friend and I traveled down on Wednesday which stayed there Wednesday and Thursday, till her mom and her two sisters came to join us on a Friday evening unfortunately they had an accident while coming it was really bad but to God be the glory there were no casualties. My friend was so tensed she started crying and thinking that she was going to lose her mom and her sister but we were able to get them to a pharmacy for them to get a little treatment and managed to be present in the in the burial.
The two burials went well the first one took place on Friday the wake keeping was on Thursday and the second one took place on Saturday the wake keeping on Friday night.
The night of the wake keeping was fun, the community people danced around so many times that is how they celebrate their dead they have this tradition where they dance around the community for a long time down into the night and they always bring out their masquerade while they're doing their burials.
It was indeed fun traveling down with my friend for the burial that was not my first time it was my second time I actually wanted to visit there river but I heard that somebody drowned there recently and the villages banned strangers from visiting the river so I wasn't able to visit the river they have a very nice river and the view is natural and lovely to behold.
The burial is finally over and I returned back to my house I am very stressed a little bit sick from the whole running around and all that but it was a beautiful and eventful weekend well spent and well planned.
