Hello everyone, you are welcome to my blog.
Our phone is not only our private possession, but it's like another part of us that shouldn't be shared with just anyone. I remember when one of my brothers told me that a professional hacker can hack my phone when they are connected to my Wi-Fi. I was very surprised when he told me because I had no idea that by that small step, I might lose my phone to hackers. It is very important that we protect ourselves from scammers.
The more reason you should be careful is that these scammers are getting smarter and more creative day by day. That is why everyone should be more than careful about the things they post and the information they share out there. The internet is here to make the world easier for us and not the other way around. As much as the internet has made life easy, it has also created space for online scammers who prey on people every day.
The funny thing is, this particular set of people is always ready to stay awake all night looking for people to scam. It can either be investment fraud or fake giveaways, etc. Scammers are working endlessly to steal money and personal information from people. That is why it is very important that we always protect ourselves from scammers.
Another way I try to protect myself from online scammers is by doing my best to avoid clicking on links I am not sure about. It is no longer news that scammers send fake messages pretending to come from your banks, or they will call telling you that one of your family members is hospitalized and that they need a certain amount of money. If you fall victim, they will scam you out of your money.
That is why I keep telling people not to click on any random link you come across. I will also avoid visiting too many websites that I am not familiar with because by that alone, I may be robbed of my email, and once that is done, it's finished. I can't retrieve it anymore. I just have to sit and watch them take over my phone, and I also run away from those sites that promise free things for a long period of time without me putting in any effort.
To avoid online fraud, we must take various steps. We must not share our personal information with anyone. We should always keep our social media accounts protected. Many people may call us and ask for passwords; we should never give them our passwords. The most online fraud in our country is seen in the field of mobile banking. My mom had a very bad experience, and we lost a huge sum of money in the process, and I don't wish that on anybody.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
