Hope your week is going great.
Mine is and I pray the rest of our week ends on a beautiful note.
So two weeks ago, father's day was celebrated all over the world and i loved the fact that finally Fatherhood is becoming appreciated.
To be honest I think Fatherhood is something a lot of people overlook and it's not fair,we all talk about our mothers but hardly about our father's.
Now let's leave out the ones who aren't responsible,the truth remains that there are so many responsible and loving fathers out there and they deserve to be appreciated.
After I thought about this i decided to draw the portrait of a Man .
Men are an embodiment of strength and composure.
They are a perfect symbol of protection and security.
We all know that Father's give us an iota of being safe, even our mothers need our fathers.
Men also love, but they love differently.
They have their own moments where it seems like they're on their own and everyone expects them to "be a man" and all they need is a shoulder to lean on.
Believe me,men have emotions too and their emotions are valid.
I used a plain sheet,a pencil and a ballpoint pen.
I started off by drawing lightly with my pencil first before I proceeded to drawing with my pen, shading and giving my drawing an outline.
If you've got a good Father, Husband,Brother, Nephews, cousin, Uncle, please take out time to celebrate them.
Their contribution to our lives and society cannot and should not be thrown under the carpet because we think they can chest issues and act as if nothing happened.
To every responsible man out there,you are loved and cherished.
