With the current price of Hive, it would be really astonishing to wake up one day and find out that Hive has pumped and reached $1. You can say unbelievable, and yes, especially now because of the current price and how it's far from that reality. But then, this is crypto we're talking of, and anything can happen. Like how Hive fell drastically to the price we have it at today, it can go up like that too. That's the power of crypto.
It would be an unbelievable reality for virtually all Hivers. Even for the ones who might not care about the financial benefits, it would do something for them. I'll say it's a win for every Hiver out there. The time and effort into creating and posting content in whatever form will prove to be worth it now more than ever before. Well, I heard there was a time Hive reached that price, if I'm not wrong. But for many other Hivers and me, I believe this would be new and wonderful.
If Hive reached $1, what would I do? I'll surely be happy about the news. I imagine that a friend and fellow Hiver chats with me to inform me about the price of Hive, or I somehow come across it and I go on to check it and see that indeed it's $1, I'll certainly be happy. This would mean more for every Hiver; better gain, better reward, more motivation and more effort. And for the blockchain, it would mean more engagement, more growth and more investment.
After all that excitement about the great news, it would be time to make critical decisions. Do I withdraw now? Do I buy more Hive? Do I stake more HP? Do I convert Hive to stable currency and save? Much could be running through my mind at that moment and that period. As much as it's a good one and something that Hivers have hoped for, even me, one needs to think not just in the moment alone, the momentary benefit, but consider the future and long-term impact.
There are some things I would do, one of which would be to stake some Hive to increase my HP and ultimately my power in the blockchain. This would give more weight to my curations and governance power. I would also withdraw. Yes, what better time than that? I believe that would serve some of my needs well considering that it would be much better compared to now. Certainly, I won't be withdrawing all of the liquid Hive I have.
As I would withdraw, I would be considering the future too. That's why I would hold some and convert some to stable currency and save for a foreseeable rise again. Hive pumping up to $1 would also have me encouraged and doing more. The reward is a big motivation and Hive at that price would be a motivation to keep showing up and even doing better. I see this also playing out in getting others to join Hive. I mean, Hive at $1 is an interesting hook.
