Earning in my country is hard at but easy for some people. I live in a country where you see a graduate doing menial jobs just to survive because there is no one at the top to help.
Earning a living in my country is hard if you don't have connections. Those without connections struggle to survive everyday. You will see a young individual juggling a different kind of job with little pay, all this is to get something in his or her pocket to feed himself or herself.
Everyday, you see someone waking up very early just to prepare for work and come back very late stressed out, without having time for himself or herself. Earning in my country is not easy at all because of the economy of the country. The reason why it is hard is because of inflation, the little money you struggle to make, you use it to buy things at a high cost.
The youths of my country are not lazy at all, they do everything they can to make sure they survive. Seeing a first class graduate being a commercial driver shows that is not easy. In my country, we don't earn from what we read in school but we earn from our skills. There are so many talented people but there are no opportunities for them to showcase their talents.
There are no employment opportunities for so many people and no empowerment too for the young ones that will help them make or earn a living. The unemployment rate is high, with many young people struggling to find jobs. Corruption is also a significant challenge in my country, where the people in power favour only their own and the others keep on struggling.
So you see, earning a living in my country is not for the faint hearted. If you don't know how to struggle, there is no way you can survive in my country (Nigeria), but it is easy for those that are connected to people in authority. They don't need to struggle before they can eat. Their own is on a platter of gold.
