Hello Hive Fam!
I hope your day is going well and that you're having a good time.
I got my car delivered in November, so it's been four months now. The service schedule is like there has to be one general cheque within a month or 1000 kilometres, which I got done on time in November only. The second service schedule is to get the general check-up done once it hits 5000 kilometres or 6 months, whichever comes first, but in my case, the kilometre milestone was reached early. In fact, the total number of kilometres is more than 5k, but it's ok. I think a little bit up and down is not a problem because obviously nobody can reach the service situation, just like the exact count that is needed. It can be a little bit earlier or a little bit later, which is fine.
I avoid getting servicing done on the weekend because there is a lot of rush, and that is why I thought that I would get this done over the weekdays to avoid that rush. There is an option to get the pick and draw facility from the service centre, but I thought I should go there to see how they are doing since the place was not too far away from my house.
I visited this service centre for the first time, and since its a weekday, I was expecting that the number of cars would be very low, but that was not the case. I could see a lot of cars over there in a queue, so just imagine how this will be over the weekend when rush hour is always expected because a lot of people get this task done over the weekend.
The car company Free 3 services, and since this is the second service, a general checkup is required, so the next one will be done at 10,000 kilometres. They will be changing the automobile and some other parts, which will be chargeable, but labour will not be charged since it is provided by the company. It took about two hours, but I expect the next one will take more time. So I can avail a pick and drop facility also, depending upon my time schedule.
Overall, it was a good experience to see that there were so many cars and how they are doing in the centre, and they had a proper mechanism, so people do not need to wait for a long time. We also had a lounge area where they were providing tea and coffee, and obviously water, so that one can sit there, enjoy watching TV or scroll reels if they like. I think it's a good experience, which is worth visiting the place because generally, for a person who does not drive so much, it will be visiting once every 4 or 5 months. Thank you!
