My free time is dedicated for agriculture which i enjoyed most.
If there is anything i cherish mostly it my free time. But is there anything like free time for me? I dont really think so because the nature of my job couple with work has made it difficult for me to carve out free time.
But recently i noticed that my body system need rest and my inner mind is telling me to have a time for rest. This actually help me to reschedule my time and i have the weekend as my free and leisure time to work on myself and appreciate nature.
As a lady i grew up in the village where most of our activities are farming. Despite my relocation to the city i still have much cravings for agricultural activities.
Since i have the weekend all to myself i invest it in a mini farm were i do some farming work.
Luckily for me i was aboe to secure a space which is good for agriculture where i planted some crops in a dmall scale.
Free time cassava planting
Late last year, when it was time to plant cassava i hired a labour who helped me to clear and cultivate a piece of land where i planted cassava stem.
During my free time i do go to the farm to check how my crop are doing and every time i spent there reminds me of my village and am happy i spent my free time on doing what i cherish most.
Lately this year when the cassava are matured enough, i havested some and sold it out which is another source of income for me and also i processed it into cassava flour, cassava flakes,etc which i do not spend money to get them again.
It doesn't stop at planting cassava because i did what is called mixed farming. I also planted some maize crops cause am a lover of maize. And this has been given me joy whenever I visited my farm during my free time.
I really love fresh crops which is from the farm ir garden directly to my kitchen. I also used my leisure time to do a small garden to plant some tomatoes and flutted pumpkin.
And this has really helped me to exercise my body and appreciate nature itself.
