Thankyou #indiaunited community for such amazing comtest giving us the opportunity to tell about our festival celebration and share to this platform, where we spread our culture and tradition to the world.
Happy Durga Ashtami to all dear my friends, The ends of 9 days Navaratri festival, Navaratri is celebrated at every part of India, but every people have their own way of celebration,So i would like to tell you my way of Navratri Celebration.
During Navratri, along with Kalash and Jawar i.e. barley or wheat is sown in a claypot as Maa Durga likes this very much, the importance of it as brings bright future in your life.
The jyot of the Akhand diya must be kept lit up through a constant supply of ghee for Nine Days of Navratri, it is kept right to the mother goddesses durga in the temple of our house.
In the morning tradition,In order to breakup for the fasting that we have put ourselves through for 9 days, first we perform some worship with Halwa and poori, then everyone get it as prasad to break fast with first eating halwa puri.
This is all setup of our morning Rituals, in this poori halwa kept on floor, but in order to maintain hygiene so halwa poori kept on newspaper.
Havan
Finally Havan was performed today, which is final step to end the nine day festivals, Hawan is mandatory as it helps on clean the surroundings, with the purification of air, removes dirt and negative energy from the house and makes good vibrations bring positivity and happiness in our house.
Kanjak Pooja
After the Hawan,we performed Kanjak pooja,as worship the 9 girls in the form of 9 form of maa Durga, we offered them as Halwa, poori and chaana. The only reason that Kanjak(small girls) is performed is children are considered the purest souls as they have no evil emotions inside them.
Are you celebrating your festival at home? or do you plan to travel on holiday?
No and Never, i always celebrate festival with my family as festival itself means the all the members of family can be together and celebrate something they believe in we decorates our houses which helps us bond with each other. In the last diwali me and my cousin made Rangoli together, she studied in different state but for diwali celebration she came to home. Whomevever working out of hometown came to home just to celebrate festival together.
will be you preparing sweets at home for the festival or you intend to order them?
My answer is both ways, one we offer to god Ganesh and goddess Laxmi is totally home made the female members of my family prepared it,On the auspicious day of diwali also known as deepawaali(lighten up diyas) as we worshipped goddess Laxmi and lord Ganesh, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Making sweet with pure ingredients and totally hygiene, In diwali mumma used to make laddoos (lord Ganesh favourite sweet items) and make Barfi at home.
Another way we distribute to sweets to our staffs and maids are from market, as it is not possible to make huge sweets at home, Gifting sweets to our love ones as symbolizing love, joy, and hospitality.
What are your shopping planning for this festive Season? Do you plan to buy anything big on festive Season

My father is elderest among all,so he is doing all Rituals of diwali. Hopefully this year will create more happiness and Memories in the family.
We would like to know about your plans for this festive Season
Diwali is main festival of our India, As it is upcoming festival of Lights, will place candles and diyas in all over places around your home, and most importantly will buys diyas and candles from roads vendors insisted buying online.
No crackers on diwali, as love the festivals of lights alots, but 'm totally against of bursting crackers. Diwali should be without crackers as it cause noise and air pollution both,Various such news on the next day of diwali where people walking on roads have lost their eyes due to irresponsible use of firecrackers.
Will make more beautiful memories with my family and friends as festival always brings us together and Thankful to god for such a amazing family and friends, will pray for them to stay blessed and protect everyone from all the negivity and darkness of life. Give everyone a healthy, wealthy and prosperity life Ahead.
