There are different strategies employed on Hive about how people explore hive backed dollars which is also known as HBD. As we are all aware hbd happens to be one of the most powerful assets on a hive because it has the ability to be used in different methods such as saving spending or being strategic about it.
There are several ways to use HBD while some people can save it to earn or yield interest, others can convert it to Hive so that they can use it to carry out other activities on the blockchain, it can be gifted to other members of the ecosystem, the most important fact is that hbd which is pegged as a stable coin can be withdrawn to cover up expenses or a person's lifestyle.
For me personally there are different ways in which I use the hbd. One method in which I strategically put my HBD to use is by exploring the feature of saving which allows me to a certain amount of interest for the period of 30 days.
Over time as I earn HBD, i divide it in a way that I would be able to make profit used to cater for my daily needs while I am able to save some for future purposes. This has been helpful because sometimes in life there are moments when you would need to fall back to what you have saved so that you can save you from embarrassment and distress.
In other words, saving HBD does not only help me have assets in savings but is builds up interest for me.
Like I mentioned earlier, aside from saving there are strategic method in place for me to be able to withdraw my HBD to cater for my daily needs.
Recently there was a question of if Hive members what the earn on the hive blockchain, no doubt people uh working tediously in this economy so as to be able to make extra income to cater for their needs and wants. So saying that all I do with my HBD is saving it off and using it for other activities on Hive would be a lie because at some point I would also want to withdraw some money to be able to buy data, repair my phone have some money with me and be able to do other things.
In Conclusion, while I use HBD on the Hive ecosystem I also ensure that I use it to sustain myself personally.
