it's really a hard time in the crypto world, the effect is felt every where and I sincerely think its a time when true loyalty is tried and tasted.
how I discovered hive is a miracle, at the time I was looking for a place where I could be creating content, I wanted to write so well, a place I can build and grow my writing skills and so hive came at the right time, so my mindset from day one was really not about the rewards I get, rather it was about grooming and nurturing my new found abilities...
this has been my motives since day one, I do appreciate the rewards as they come in handy most times however even days when I put in so much effort and got absolutely nothing it didn't bother me, cause I know I'm consistently building a skilll that is highly on demand today...
like I said the crypto world had experience a dramatic turn around recently and hive is not left out of it, so in these week's #iucontest 
what's my strategy in surviving these hard times on hive, I simply keep doing what I love doing and loving what I do always which is to create content, I understand that the times are very difficult and it's really affecting every thing around it, however my mindset on hive hasn't been about the rewards, I really don't keep much hope on that, however I pray hive recovers and everything bounce back soon enough.
I've read some post from some others and I must say it's really not so funny, some are already loosing hope, unstaking and taking whatever is left, since the crash is really telling on every coin, will I blame them no, it is what it is, I know these are trying times and we must all do whatever it takes to survive.
my strategy from day one till date is to safe as much HP I can generate from my post and whatever HBD I get I use that for my upkeep whether it is favorable or not, this mindset actually came from the fact that the higher my stake Hive the higher chances I get to earn more author rewards and so I always want to earn more, tho I'm not financially buoyant yet to start investing from outside source, I simply allow the default system setting to determine what I get and what I safe which is the 50/50 HIVE/HBD ratio for author rewards, as a matter of fact I hate to power down because I know I'm depriving myself of a higher chance to earn more.
this is me and even tho the system is crashing I still choose to believe in this project that has helped me nurture my little gift. I know some day it will bounce back, I choose to stick in long term ....
