I don't really have an exact figure for how much I use it for, but essentially, it's an expense. I use it to buy food, as well as some payments for goods and services, but mostly it's food. Of course, I must admit that the low price has greatly affected me when receiving my rewards and using almost everything. Furthermore, the only advantage we have since the change to only receiving HIVE is the increase in our HP, which will undoubtedly help us accumulate points and thus increase our rewards for curation when we vote. In other words, it's all a constant feedback loop with many benefits for those who can sustain their HP for longer.
Now that I'm working, it's easier for me because even though I don't have time to post daily, I convert the few rewards I get into HBDs as a way to save while waiting for the HIVE price increase. That would undoubtedly change everything and give us a significant advantage over the rest. I personally have excellent memories from a few years ago (when I was just starting out) and the price was around $3, so why not return to those times very soon? It would certainly benefit us greatly, given the amount I could have saved right now.
So, as you can read in my post, I don't have a set plan for HBDs; it will depend on my economic and work situation. But it would definitely be ideal for me to save them. And so ends my small participation in the #iucontest here in the community, where we learn a little about all the opportunities we have by belonging to and regularly posting in the Hive ecosystem.
