- How Is Your Year This Far?
Hello wonderful friends. It’s been more than a month since I last posted in this community or participated in any contest. I’m very sorry about that. Regarding this week’s contest theme, “How Is Your Year This Far?”, I want to share my thoughts with you.
First of all, I must say a very big thank you to God Almighty for the gift of life. I would have been a dead person by now, but He said no, and for that I am grateful. With just five or six weeks left in 2025, I can boldly say that I’ve learned a lot this year.
Lessons I Learned This Year
One of my greatest lessons is the importance of letting go of old memories so that we can move forward. This includes letting go of toxic friends and toxic relationships. Peace of mind is priceless.
My Achievements
Did I achieve anything this year? Oh yes, I did!
I got myself a new Android phone.
I made lots of new friends around the world through blockchain blogging — people I would never have known if not for these platforms.
I also bought new household items that make my home more comfortable.
And above all, I am grateful for my precious life.
Challenges I Faced
Did I face challenges this year? My dear, don’t even go there! The challenges were numerous.
One of the scariest experiences was a witchcraft attack that almost took my life, but God intervened. I still remember that night in August — a cat crying around my doorpost, and when I stepped out, I saw a heap of strange things on my door. It was a mysterious attack, but God saved me.
Goals I Haven’t Achieved Yet
I didn’t achieve all my goals this year. For example, I still want to learn more about Hive-Engine and how to swap tokens. I’m hopeful I will learn it before the year ends.
My Advice to Everyone
One unexpected lesson I learned is that we should never compare ourselves with others. Celebrate your own wins, even if they look small. Remember, all fingers are not equal.
A Beautiful Surprise This Year
Aside from meeting wonderful people online, I also met a good friend offline — someone who listens, understands, and supports me. So instead of ending this year alone like usual, this year blessed me with a lovely friend.
What I’m Still Working On
I still have one habit I’m struggling with: controlling my words whenever I’m angry. This has become one of my prayer points, and by God’s grace, I will overcome it before the year ends.
As we prepare to close 2025, I wish you all a beautiful ending and a wonderful new year ahead.
