In my country, Nigeria, Earning money is not very easy, but it is definitely possible , especially for one who's creative, hardworking, willing to learn new skills and ideas to draft out how to make money. The more reason why it's not easy for people to earn money in my country is due to fewer job opportunities. Many people out here are looking for work, opportunities, but there are not enough good paying jobs. Most times, when you find a job, it may not pay well enough to cover expenses due to low salaries. Another point is high cost of living in Nigeria. The prices of food, transport, and rents, keep rising and its becoming too alarming. Again, Nigeria has alot of poor infrastructure. There is usually unstable internet and power cuts which make running businesses harder and very difficult.
Earning in Nigeria seems like a very hard but to crack. As for me, I have a lot of businesses I have ventured into in order to sustain a living. I have learnt skills and also draft out business plans. Am a fashion designer, caterer and a nail tech. I took out my time to learn so much skills because I knew the kind of country I am in and how hard it is to earn here. By the special grace of God, those skills I learnt has been putting food on my tables, sorting my needs, and sending money home. To be honest, hand work is very beneficial, especially in Nigeria. One without a skill in my country ends up working for another and collects peanuts at the end of every month.
But despite these challenges, many Nigerians are making money by finding smart and modern ways to earn. Take for instance; Online jobs like; freelancing, digital marketing, content creation, affiliate marketing, etc. One can still make money from all these online stuffs if you are actually ready, willing, and concentrated in earning money. Also, creation of small businesses. you can still sell clothes, food, cosmetics, or offering services like hairdressing or photography to people to make money. You can venture into tech jobs like; coding, graphic design, web development, etc. Agricultural work can also help to earn cool money. They include; poultry, fish farming, food processing, etc.
*So, in essence, For you to earn well in Nigeria, it takes one who has a hustling spirit to overcome. Due to the high cost of living in Nigeria, it has really dawned on its citizens to know that Nigeria ain't for the weak. Also, for you to earn money in Nigeria, you need to have the spirit of creativity, consistency. This further means that you should learn to build yourself slowly, not expecting overnight success. Also have the spirit of diversification. I.E having more than one source of income. In my country, it's mimicked as "Jack Of All Trades".
