If I could plan my perfect weekend exactly the way I wanted, I honestly already have so many ideas in my head. But the one that stands out the most, the one that feels truly perfect to me, is spending it at the and having a peaceful time with my family.
The funny thing is, the last time I went to the beach was back when I was still in secondary school. That’s a long time ago, yet the memory is still very fresh. I can still remember how excited I was, the way the waves kept rushing to the shore, the sound of people laughing, the smell of the ocean, and how the sand felt under my feet. It was one of those simple moments that stayed with me without me even realizing it. So, being able to relive that experience now, as an adult, feels like the best kind of weekend I could ever plan for myself.
If I had the chance, I would go early in the morning when the sun is just rising. I would just sit there with my family, maybe take pictures, walk around barefoot in the sand, or even play a little if the mood is right. It doesn’t have to be anything too serious. Just being there would already be enough to make me feel refreshed. Knowing myself, I would definitely use that time to reflect on life a bit, think about how far I’ve come, and just be grateful for everything.
After the beach, another thing I would love to add to my perfect weekend is going to the cinema. I’ve always loved movies, especially thriller movies. I enjoy the suspense, the unexpected twists, and the tension that keeps you glued to the screen. So, going to the cinema with my friends or family to watch a really good thriller is something that would complete the whole weekend for me.
It doesn’t even have to be a big outing—just buying popcorn, sitting together in the dark hall, and reacting to the movie at the same time. Those little moments are the ones that make memories feel special. After the movie, we would probably talk about our favourite scenes, argue playfully about who predicted what, and laugh about the parts that shocked us the most.
When I think of a perfect weekend, I’m not imagining something too fancy or expensive. For me, it’s all about peace, good vibes, and being around people who matter to me. A simple visit to the beach, followed by a fun trip to the cinema, is more than enough to make me happy. If I ever get the chance to plan my weekend fully, that’s exactly how I would want it to be.
