I joined Hive in May last year, and before that, I was really active on other platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I normally post almost every day, interact with people, and try to grow my page, but no matter how much effort I put in, it was really hard to earn anything meaningful. On those platforms, it almost feels like only celebrities or verified users benefit, while everyone else is just helping to build the platform for free.
That’s one of the biggest things that stood out to me when I joined Hive. It was the first time I saw a social platform where your efforts could actually be rewarded, no matter who you are. You don’t need to pay for verification or be famous to earn — Hive is free, open, and fair. All you really need is consistency, creativity, and a willingness to engage with people.
It actually felt good knowing that i could create something from my own ideas and actually get rewarded for it without having to go through unnecessary requirements or pay any fees.
Another thing I really admire about Hive is how it values originality. On platforms like Twitter, i have come across cases where people steal other people’s tweets or content and go viral with them. Sometimes, the real creators never even get credit for their work, and that can be very discouraging. But then Hive is totally different. If you copy someone else’s work here, you can be reported, and the community doesn’t take it lightly. That kind of protection makes you feel safe to express share your own througt and ideas freely, knowing fully well that what you create truly belongs to you.
Now, as for the future of Hive, I can’t pretend to know exactly what will happen, but I’m hopeful. Hive is still growing, and even though the price of Hive tokens is currently low, I see that as just a temporary thing. Every great project goes through ups and downs, and Hive isn’t an exception. What still gives me confidence is the strength of its community — people here genuinely care, they support each other, and they believe in what the platform stands for.
So yes, I really do think Hive is better than most centralized platforms. It may not be as big as Twitter or Facebook yet, but it offers something they don’t which is freedom, fairness, and real value for your creativity. I’m proud to be part of it, and even though no one can predict the future, I genuinely believe Hive’s best days are still ahead. Someday, I think we’ll all look back and be glad we were here from the beginning.
