Assalamu Alaikum, Today I am going to share one of the complicated love stories that came across me.
There is a girl who is a mother of two, and she has fallen in love with a boy who is twelve years younger than her.
He is also from a different country. They have never met each other, yet they talk as if they are ready to give up everything for each other.
They are madly in love, and I think it is really dangerous.
What I suggested to them as a friend is to stop living in a fantasy and start thinking about the reality of their situation and the challenges that may come in their path. They must ask themselves if they are truly ready to face those challenges.
First, society is usually not ready to accept relationships with a large age gap, especially when the boy is younger.
Second, when there is a cultural difference, the problem becomes even bigger. Lastly, if there is a difference in religion, then it becomes another major issue for both of them.
So my advice to them is to tell the truth to both families and see how they can manage the situation.
It is better to end things early and save themselves from pain, so that neither of them develops hard feelings.
It is always better to end things on a good note, especially when both people already know what the future of this love story might be.
I am not against love at all, because I myself married the person I loved. But I know that it is not easy.
You have to fight a lot, and you have to go through many things that bring a lot of pain. That is why I gave this advice to my friend.
What are your thoughts, and what is your stance on people falling in love with each other only through social media, without meeting in real life, and ignoring age, culture, or anything else?
I know I may sound a little harsh, but I must say this. You know a person’s real nature only when you meet him or her in reality.
So maybe it is not a good idea to attach yourself to someone virtually or digitally, because in the end, you might get your heart broken and end up in pain.
