A New Beginning: New Year's Resolutions
This new year feels different, full of hope. The reality for many Venezuelans, like me, is not easy. The economic and social situation is complicated, and often, money isn't enough to cover my family's needs. Every day is a struggle.
But this year, I want to do things differently. My goals are simple but important:
Appreciate what I have: My first goal is to take care of my family. They are my support. Together, and with good health, we can face anything.
Learn and teach: Although my salary isn't high, I want to find ways to learn new things. That way, I can help my students and perhaps earn a little more money.
Be positive: I want to think and speak positively. I believe that, with faith and effort, we can improve our situation. Venezuela has valuable people, and together we can build a better future.
How will this change my life? By focusing on what I have instead of what I lack, I feel more peace and strength. I don't just want to survive, but also to grow despite the difficulties. Hope in the heart of a Venezuelan never dies.
This year, the door to a new beginning has opened for us; good or bad, only time will tell. In the meantime, I want to take a deep breath and believe that we've started off on the right foot and that good changes are coming for all Venezuelans.

Este nuevo año se siente diferente, lleno de esperanza. La realidad de muchos venezolanos, como yo, no es fácil. La situación económica y social es complicada, y muchas veces, el dinero no alcanza para cubrir las necesidades de mi familia. Cada día es una lucha.
Pero este año, quiero hacer cosas diferentes. Mis propósitos son simples pero importantes:
Valorar lo que tengo: Mi primer propósito es cuidar de mi familia. Ellos son mi apoyo. Juntos, y con buena salud, podemos enfrentar cualquier cosa.
Aprender y enseñar: Aunque mi sueldo no es alto, quiero buscar formas de aprender cosas nuevas. Así podré ayudar a mis alumnos y quizás ganar un poco más de dinero.
Ser positiva: Quiero pensar y hablar de manera positiva. Creo que, con fe y esfuerzo, podemos mejorar nuestra situación. Venezuela tiene gente valiosa, y juntos podemos construir un futuro mejor.
