The primary concern among majority of Filipinos in this economy today is actually financial stability – and "directly", because increasing prices of necessities combined with unemployment, low wages and ever escalating expenses just makes it really difficult for families to manage, or live rather. There are many that worry about the inability to continue providing adequate food, education, medical care, and most especially a brighter future for their children. In such a scenario of constant inflation and economic instability, hardworking Filipinos will likely find it very challenging to cope up with saving money or gaining financial security.
To address this challenges, the government and the citizens must be in unison rather than division. The government must focus more on creating more job openings, providing substantial support to small entrepreneurs, addressing increase in wages, and at the same time considering the growing prices of basic necessities. On the other hand, substantial investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure are crucial to make the economy more stable, and consequently the lives of the ordinary Filipinos more manageable.
While it is imperative that the government play a role, Filipinos can still have an adaptive mindset. This entails making wiser choices as a consumer, acquiring new skills and seeking out additional streams of income, sometimes in the form of side jobs. Community initiatives such as cooperation and bayanihan can also be emphasized as Filipino ways of overcoming problems together. With such synchronized efforts and preparation for the future, Filipinos can eventually learn to be more resilient and still maintain hope even amid challenging times.
