For the few years I’ve been on Hive, the price of Hive these past months has been the lowest I've seen it. This has really been discouraging. Some people left the blockchain, some stopped blogging since it felt like nothing was coming out of it anymore. Actually, they have a point because the price of Hive currently at $0.06 is nothing to write home about.
Honestly, I'm looking forward to the day Hive will moon. I’d be extremely excited to see Hive hit $1. The excitement isn't just for the number, but for what it means. It'd be a signal that the work we're doing here matters again.
And for my plans for when this happens;
My stake stays: I'll continue powering up and growing my HP because that's what gives me influence and curation power here, and I’m not giving that up.
I'll take profit: Not only have I been building my stake, I've equally been stashing liquid Hive. So I'd only sell them to take profit. I deserve that. Lol. Yeah! It'd be a profit-taking moment for me. All those months of holding through the low would finally pay off.
Finally, I’ll keep creating: The price going up wouldn't in any way change my goal. I’d still be blogging - creating contents, engaging, curating, and still earning. If anything, it'd prove the consistency was worth it.
Moreover, Hive is my sure side hustle, so I'll be here as long as Hive thrives.
I believe that Hive's price could go beyond $1 in the coming days. It has happened before, so it's absolutely possible to happen again.
From what I found, HIVE’s peak was about $3.41 on November 26, 2021, after hovering around $1.5376 from October 01, 2021 to $1.02 on November 15, 2021. Source
So you see why I'm optimistic about it, and I want to believe a good number of us are, too.
Honestly, Hive hitting $1 and beyond matters for the whole community. For one, it'd bring traction and visibility back to Hive. More crypto enthusiasts and investors would notice and equally consider buying and investing.
Furthermore, we'd probably experience an influx of new users who'd want to be part of what’s happening here. Who wouldn't want to be a part of the moving train?
Also, some old users who left would definitely want to comeback and continue from where they left off.
Visibility, I believe, is how Hive will grow, and this is what we've been building for.
