I want to believe that everyone who joined Hive had a reason, a goal, before doing so. Truth is, not everyone is here to build for the long term. Some are here just to earn and cash out afterwards. I want to commend every user who've been here, building, growing your stake for all these years that Hive have been in existence. You guys are a source of inspiration to me, and many others who are here to tow the line also.
I joined Hive not to flip coins. I came with the investment mindset - to build for the long term. I was glad I finally found a place where I could save for my future — maybe even retirement.
I understood that if I wanted this goal achieved, then I would have to treat Hive as a business - be consistent, create, earn and stake!
That's why from day one, I set my rewards to 100% HP. It was like that till after a year or so, by then, my HP had grown considerably, so I reverted to 50/50% payout. I began to participate in the monthly power up and have been consistent till this month. I'm not stopping either.
And you know what, just a few days ago I hit Dolphin status. That's the result of consistency and growing my HP. I plan to grow more. What’s wrong with hitting 50K HP? Or more? You know what that means — more weight, more voting power, more rewards, and more earnings to sort out the bills.
Here's where it gets juicer. Lol.
Yes, I spend some of my earnings, just like every other person does. Some even depend on what they earn to sort out the bills. That's life, not everyone
However, I stake more than I take out - I take a part of the reward, and I plough back the rest. And with the reward payout no longer coming in HBD, the HP reward has increased tremendously. For this, I'm excited because it's helping push my HP, coupled with my participation in the monthly power up.
That's a wrap. Thanks for stopping by.
The contest is still open for participation. Here's the link to join.
