The research says that 95% of the world population has some or the other health ailment, with some of the health issues not even being noticed by an individual. That means only 5% of the world population is perfectly healthy. I am not sure how valid these numbers are but even if they have to be 50% which I am sure is under stated then too it's a a very big number. In my own circle if I observe almost everyone is on some or the other pill. The health standards have drastically gone down in the last 3 decades with more and more fast food chains opening. GMO foods, processed foods, foods high on sugar, aerated drinks, all of these are at a rise and they do nothing but damage our heath.
I was under the impression that I have a perfect health, but since the last 2 years I have been getting some kind of skin itchiness. It is nothing major but it was disturbing me because it is not normal. I got some test done, but everything was clear. My Son then suggested me to do a Stool test with one of the clinics in the USA which identifies any problem just at the beginning. In that it came out that my Helicobacter Pylori count was high, it's a bacteria that infects the stomach and can damage the tissues of the small intestine and the stomach. The number is not very high but it is not normal also and also some presence of Microbes overgrowth. It is together is an imbalance of the microorganisms in the gut that maintain healthy digestion. All of this is just at the beginning so I can take good care of it now itself. Since the last 1 month I have been on a very mindful diet, avoiding all sugar, gluten and junk foods. It makes me feel better overall but yes I need to get the test done again to see the numbers, only then I can be assured.
The whole thing was that for a month being on a very healthy diet, last evening I was tempted to have a glass of wine and with that had some munchies. After that I had a restless night, I could not sleep well, had some burning sensation, and I knew that the diet had played on me. When we are on a constant unhealthy way of eating such sensations do not come up as the body gets used to it, but when we shift from a clean diet then instantly we can see these changes in the body.
Diabetes is the most common ailment these days following with Heart Health issues, Cholesterol, Blood pressure, all of these have become very common conditions and they can put you on medications for life long. There are natural remedies but people do not have patience to go through them. Most of us lack in important vitamins like vitamin D, K, Magnesium, B12, Iron, Zinc.....
It is not possible to keep tracking all of this all the time in our body, but as we age it is important to get yearly routine test done to understand the vitamin and mineral levels in the body. Most of the problems will get resolved if these gaps are filled up and if the problems are identified at the most initial stage.
