Today India is celebrating it's 75th Independence Day. A day of joy for every Indian. The whole country is celebrating this most memorable day in the history of India. My city is looking like a bride, completely lit up in the tri colors of the Indian flag. Every house has a flag waving out on their windows and balconies. It is truly a beautiful sight to see and feeling proud to be a part of this moment.
Last night I went for a walk to the most dazzling street of the city, Marine Drive. The road runs parallel to the Sea and gives the most beautiful views of the city. But yesterday it was packed, at 12 in the night it felt like it was the most busiest time of the day. Since it's a long weekend holidays, almost everyone has been out celebrating.
It was really a sight to see, how every single building was lit up and every house has a flag. It was a well coordinated efforts on this whole road.

While the negative side of this whole celebrations is that there is a lot of mess on the road and while the city looks beautiful all lit up, the roads are filled up with garbage.
