Last week I was in Ahmedabad city. I knew of one Hive person staying there so while I was there I thought of connecting with him. When I messaged him, he instantly responded with his contact number and we had a quick chat and decided to catch up. This person is @Gungunkrishu - Mr Parab. He invited me to his home and not only meet him but his family also. That was very kind of him. I was there at his residence at the decided time. I was very warmly greeted by his full family, which is his wife and 2 adorable and very smart children.

Before meeting both of us were in thoughts, what conversations we would have, but to our surprise we our conversations were like never ending. He told me that his Hive name is from his kids, which is again very sweet and thoughtful. His wife Preethu was also very warm and welcoming. I was served with variety of snacks by her. We shared our experiences of Hive all through these years, and sharing how unreal it felt in the beginning, whether we should trust something like this or not and from that phase to this one, where we have been so devoted now to Hive.

The best thing was there was so much in common to talk about and one of it was about crystals. His son Krishu likes to collect crystals and gemstones, which he showed it to me, and I was in awe looking at them, because they were all high grade gemstones and crystals. Meeting them did not feel like it was the first time. It felt like we knew each other for a very long time, there was absolutely no awkwardness. Our meeting did not end with just snacks and crystals. Preethu his wife also gave me gifts from both of them. A beautiful Diary and a Indian attire. It was a sudden plan so I was unprepared and had gone empty hand to their home, which is not actually our tradition.

Where time passed away we did not realize and then when I was ready to leave their home, they insisted that they would drop me home, which again was a very very warm gesture. They came all the way to drop me navigating through some crazy traffic and I was feeling very bad about it that because of me they had to go through this hassle.

To be very honest, it was a very sweet and joyful experience meeting his family, both the children and his wife and himself too were so warm and welcoming. It never felt like we were meeting for the first time. Thank you Hive account@gungunkrishu for your hospitality and kindness, and hope to meet you soon again next time when I am back in your city.
