Everyone has that one person who lights up their path, someone who motivates them when they are down, someone whose life and experience spur them up. This is someone we call our motivation, some people call them their support system. The truth is we all have that one person and at times our experiences in life motivate us, but for the purpose of this topic let us talk about the person.
First, I am my own self-motivation because looking at the world and looking at others who succeed, I can only tell myself, Nsi you must succeed no matter what. The next set of people that serve as motivation to me are my parents. Their actions are a serious motivation to me. Looking back at how they struggled to feed us, send us to school and provide for our needs, their actions motivate us to work hard and succeed in order to also support them when the occasion demands.
Because as someone who did not grow up from a rich background, seeing my parents doing all their best to stand out is a big motivation. Whenever I feel discouraged, I look at their story and I am reminded that success is not an overnight achievement but a journey of consistency and belief in oneself. They make me understand that every setback is an opportunity to rise stronger and wiser. Truly, their life is a book full of lessons and I am grateful to be a reader of such an inspiring story.
They are not only role models but also a compass guiding me through life’s journey. Their influence has made me believe in possibilities, dream bigger and work harder. I will forever cherish their impact on my life because they remind me daily that greatness is within reach if only we remain focused and determined. Their sacrifices are a constant reminder that love and responsibility can push anyone to achieve beyond limitations. In every stage of my life I see their footprints, and those footprints direct me towards my goals.
