Indeed everything that has a good side must also have a bad side. Nothing is 100 percent perfect and nothing is 100 percent bad, just like other web2 and web3 platforms hive has it's own ups and downs too. I joined have about a year ago and it was very nice. I truly enjoyed nearly everything about it. Hive has been a nice platform.
Firstly, blogging on hive has served as a side hustle for me for about a year now and being honest, it has been really paying. When hive was first introduced to me , I thought it was one of those online stuff that will not stand the taste of time or scam. But I started and within a month I cashed out , I was happy and surprise as to how real that was. And since then I have been cashing out ones in a while and it's really helping.
Again, hive has also help me in the aspect of creative writing, looking at a topic and racking my brain on how to come up with something about that topic, it has also made me learn to reason from other people's perspective, because people approach different topics differently.
Another good thing about hive is that it is not controlled by anyone ( it's decentralized )
Another sweet thing about Hive is that fact that the transactions is fast and swift.
On the other hand, some thumbs down about hive us that the crypto price greatful influence it. It fluctuates base on how the cryptocurrency is doing . Just like what we are experiencing now. It only takes someone with patience to continue blogging now . Again to keep earning you must keep blogging , it requires consistency. Finally rewards on Hive are not always guaranteed, posting does not mean you will earn or earn more.
In summary, hive is a nice platform, but it requires consistency, patience and you must love writing or expressing your views via writing. Even as the crypto price is somehow now, this is where the patience is needed , let's keep blogging because everything might soon turn out to be cool again.
