Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. I think there are many of us out there for whom the main reason for joining Hive was to start making some money for ourselves. Almost everyone of us, after being told about Hive, our first question was, "Does it really pay?" Some of us felt it was just another Ponzi scheme and would crash soon, and we stepped into the space with the strategy used for Ponzi schemes, which is to withdraw earnings before the platform crashes so that in case it does, you will have no regrets. Now it has been about 5 years since joining the Hive platform, and there is not a single sign of crashing.
The hive platform is not one you can understand from outside the hive space but one that you need to be a part of before you can fully grasp what it is all about. When my onboarder was talking, I only understood a few things he was talking about; I came to understand the rest of the things years after I joined Hive. The hive space is a very big one, and understanding it takes time and dedication. Some people see it as a platform where they can get rich quick or make quick money, and for that reason, they go all out for their earnings and withdrawal or take everything.
One thing with the Hive platform is that it is decentralized, and nobody tells you what to do with your earnings, but if you look around, you will see that it is only those who choose long-term growth that have influence on the Hive platform, while those who withdraw all their earnings are subjected to being at the mercy of those who don't withdraw their earnings for curation support and every other support that they actually need to grow on Hive as well as enjoy Hive. Those who don't withdraw their earnings have more influence on the platform than those who withdraw their every earning.
You only get to learn that those who don't withdraw all their earnings are more influential on the platform after you have been on the platform for some time, and at that point you must have been withdrawing most or all of your earnings. The fact is that to be influential on Hive, you have to think long-term, power up earnings, and power up more of your earnings than you actually withdraw. I personally choose long-term because I aim to be influential someday too.
