Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. When it comes to doing the things we enjoy,we do them without even waiting to be told; we are always looking for opportunities just so we can do these things because of how they make us feel when we do them. The immense joy, the feeling that words cannot describe, how these things switch out moods, and the things we love doing are like comfort sometimes. When you feel sad and engage yourself in whatever it is you like doing, all you need is time, and you will find yourself feeling happy again.
The things we love and enjoy vary from one individual to another. I have a female friend for whom crocheting is something she loves doing. She can sit in a particular position for hours without feeling tired or sleepy as long as she is busy with her crocheting needles, but the moment those needles are taken away, she starts to complain about how tired she is or how badly she needs to sleep. She will always say crocheting is her superpower whenever we ask her how she does it. I also have another female friend who does not want anything to do with a crocheting needle because it requires more sitting than standing.
What you love and enjoy, another might avoid like it is a plague, and you cannot blame them because there is a high possibility that what they love and enjoy doing too, you'd see it like a plague and would want to avoid it at all costs. You cannot be on the same page with everyone; our likes and dislikes differ. What brings me happiness is simple and straightforward. I am not a complicated person, so there are things people consider basic, but those basic things are actually what make me happy.
Listening to music: When I say music is therapy, I mean it. Listening to music is one thing I do every day, and with every opportunity I get, I want to shut out the rest of the world and just listen to music. Some music you listen to, and it just feels like the artists know your story and decided to sing about it. The song will be so relatable, and you just find yourself flowing. Music can help heal a broken spirit. Sometimes you feel down or even depressed, and after a few songs, you find your spirit high again.
Reading: Lately, a lot of activities keeps getting in the way, but I still manage to read whenever I get the chance, I read journals and stories, both fictional and nonfictional. Reading helps to enlighten you as well as broaden your knowledge on life.
There are many other things I love doing, but I think I will leave it at these two for now.
