Hello everyone 🤗, it's been awhile I made a post, Merry Christmas to y'all 😄.
I think one of the things we get to learn as adults when we start handling different bills is how to manage our funds, and seriously, for most people that didn't have prior financial knowledge, they usually gets to learn this the hard way.
For me, I have learned on different occasions how to manage my income. Firstly, I have different financial goals set for mostly every income that comes my way.
I have a percentage set for savings, feeding, transportation, gifts, etc., and this has really helped me so when there's a need to spend money that isn't in my budget and it's not an emergency or a life-threatening situation, I don't really burden myself with it.

Sometime ago a friend was getting married, and she came up with asoebi (a uniform that the friend would wear for the wedding), and this was impromptu. I checked my budget from when the asoebi was released to the wedding date and realized that there wasn't anywhere I could squeeze out money from to buy it, and I told her I didn't have the funds for it.
Some people felt I should just have tried no matter what or even borrow money to buy it, but I told them I wouldn't because it wasn't part of my plans. This has also helped me to manage my income, standing strong on my words and sticking to my budget and not allowing what other people think or feel to sway me.I don't get swayed by trending things; I mostly don't buy what's not on my list.
I have learned to save and look out for different legit ways to invest my money into, and having a goal-oriented mindset has helped me a lot in managing my income.
This also doesn't mean I don't go out or get new things for myself or enjoy life once in a while; it just means that I know when to set boundaries and don't allow things of the world to sway me away.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
