A smart house using the available technology. Do you know that Nigerians are now building houses that can convert sewage from the toilet and kitchen to biogas? I know that you might have heard of solar energy, but let's delve deeper in how to make a house that its waste products can be efficient. So, I am this kind of person that does not fancy living in the city. I love to live at the outskirts of Lagos, where there is freedom, silence, and fresh air. My dream house fits into the topic of today. First issue is electricity. I will love a building filled with solar roof and walls to generate electricity, at least 50,000 kilowatts of panel, batteries which store a lot of energy for long term use. Surely, I will need a few powerful solar charge controllers. Additionally, around the house, I will install solar lights, solar pumping machines, and more. In my kitchen, I will have a dual energy source for cooking. For the gas burner, I will love a biogas generator and solar powered electric cooker. Now here comes the twist: I will have a farm full of fish, chicken, goat, maize, and pig. The fish droppings can serve as fertilizer for the maize. Other food waste can go to the chicken farm and pig or goat farm. Now that the sewage waste has been taken care of using the biogas system, one can now focus on the refuse waste. Plastic waste should be packaged together; additionally, nylon waste should be packaged together. In my vicinity, certain companies buy these profucts toproduce new products. Additionally, I would have a solar charging station as well as hydrogen generation devices for hydrogen driven cars. Other things to consider is the kind of painting. A light painting should do. I should have windows on both sides, and I should have trees too. I wish to plant cocoa trees on that land and very many more. All these minimizes waste, generate more energy and reduces green house effect creating a cleaner environment.
This is an dea of the kind of house that I want. What do you think about it? It has a way of protecting the environment, right?
