Hello guys,
The second week of 2023 is about to end and I have yet to decide on my goals for this year on Hive. And it might take even longer. Or do I care about those at all?
From 2022 Travel diary
I love to travel and 2022 was a much better year after two years of lockdowns and travel restrictions. I will continue my travels and will try to cover places from my neighbouring states such as Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. I might not be travelling to other distant places, not until I get some financial help. Or who knows? life is full of random events...eh?
I know setting goals have many advantages, it can help us motivate at times and even guide us but that happens when you set a good goal not like how I do it. My goals are either too vague or too precise.
Anyways, I saw a 365 days savings plan that I wanted to follow. Each day you have to add one 0.01 to your savings. For eg:
Day 1 - 0.01
Day 2 - 0.02
Day 3 - 0.03
and by the end of Day 365, you will have 667.95. It can be done with any unit like Hive, HP or HBD.
I wanted to do this with my HBD savings but I suck at implementing plans especially when something requires consistency. I like to live my life in complete chaos. I believe when our life is full of random events what is the point of micro-managing everything? Maybe this will be harmful to me but I don't care much. I want to live in the present and not worry constantly about the future.
But still, I want to have an HP goal for this year. I will set an ambitious goal of reaching 5K HP by the end of 2023. I will have to gather ~3500 HP somehow, all this will come exclusively by post rewards. I can achieve this if the prices remain stable this year. I might need to convert my HBD as well if I have to reach the 5K HP mark.
It will be a big milestone after my 1K HP milestone in the previous year.
What are your goals for this year? Or are you like me who doesn't like set goals?
Thanks for reading...
Until next time...
