I would say that things weren’t as easy some years ago as they are today. This is because technology continues to advance, bringing new ways to make work easier for us. We don’t have to stress or overstretch ourselves anymore, but with the invention of AI and its tools, we can work around them, helping us to deliver the best.
If there’s one thing spectacular about these tools, it is to refine our work, giving it that amazing touch - be it images, videos, content writing, etc. There are AI tools for different purposes - content creation, business and its productivity. Examples are ChatGPT, DALL-E, Quillbot, Grammarly, Trello, CopyAI, MetaAI, etc.
The most common ones I use are Grammarly, Quillbot, ChatGPT and MetaAI. Grammarly and Quillbot are used to correct my grammar and make my writing easy to read. They give me suggestions on my sentences, and if need be, I choose the ones that fit my posts.
ChatGPT and Meta AI are used to generate images and answer my questions. Working with both tools, I would say I prefer ChatGPT more than the other because of how in-depth it goes to simplify a particular task for you. ChatGPT explains a term just like a young child would understand, and I love it. Many times, I go to it to learn more about spiritual topics even before I think of using Google.
ChatGPT helps me generate outlines for a particular prompt, especially when I do not understand and need help to start my content. These AI tools are very useful for creating content and even helping to manage our time. They help to summarise and create words into images and videos.
Just like I read in a video I watched recently, these AI tools are created to supplement our work and not to replace it. This is because there have been controversies and theories of how AI is going to take over the world and replace humans completely. Not only that, people are now dependent on these tools that they are now a threat to humanity who choose to rely heavily on them without adding their own inputs.
Then, we read of different posts opposing the claim that AI will replace humans of which is not true. What AI will do is to make work easier and productive for us. They are just tools for refinement.
But just as we have everything with pros and cons, we have these tools with their advantages and disadvantages, and it's left for us to make our choice, whether as a tool or a threat.
It’s so sad that many people have become lazy due to relying heavily on these tools to complete their work without their own efforts being put into it. They fail to use their brain but rather choose to depend on machines. This won’t allow them to become creative and will make them not believe in their ability.

For me, I try not to rely on these tools but to make my work easier and understandable, especially when it comes to simplifying difficult questions for me. There are times I have written my posts and then use ChatGPT to generate title ideas to choose from, and sometimes, I would rephrase a title I feel could be written better and fitting for my content.
Also, when it comes to using images for my content, I try to design them using Canva just to help me become better. When I find it hard to design an image, I go for help to give me ideas on how to go about creating something nice. For instance, there was a time I needed to make an image, and I was confused about how to go about it. ChatGPT generated different ideas with step-by-step details, and I worked with it.
The more we rely on these tools, the lazier and less effective we become when we don’t put in our efforts, thereby improving our creativity and intelligence.
Inasmuch as these tools are here to stay and help us in our day-to-day activities, we must be careful not to let them take over completely and do our work for us.
If these tools were to be taken away today, would you be able to do your work efficiently and effectively? Will you be able to live without them?
