Sometimes, all you have to do is try.
Recently, when the entire crypto market crashed and things got worse, I was in a lot of panic. That is when I started talking to my friends and seniors in the market about what to do, because for the last 4-5# years, I have been living my life through crypto and blockchain. I have been a writer, a trader, and a gamer, and that is how I have managed my life.
But the market situation over the last few months has not been convincing. And if you are part of the market, then you already know that it hasn’t supported any of us. No matter where you entered or what you did, your portfolio was down 70% to 90% from its initial value.
Apart from that, the platforms where we write and earn, like the Hive blockchain, were also affected. The native Hive token itself saw a crash of more than 90%. It was once trading around $0.60-70 last year, and now it is below 6 cents.
While this means it is an opportunity to buy tokens at a lower price, it also means that earlier, if you could withdraw a certain amount by selling 100 tokens, now you need to sell 1000 tokens to get the same value.
That is why I was in a lot of panic. My friends and seniors suggested that I should apply for a job. I was very scared because I had never worked in an organization before, and I didn’t really want to try.
But as I said in the beginning of this blog, sometimes you just need to try.
I created my profile, made my resume, and published it on a job portal. Thankfully, by the grace of Allah, last month I was selected for a job.
So that is what I wanted to share today. Sometimes, you just have to give it a try, and things can work in your favor. Never give up before trying.
The only thing that helped me take that step was my mindset. I believed that I had nothing to lose. If I got the job, I would gain something extra in my life. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t lose anything. I would still have what I already had and could continue working on it.
That belief helped me move forward.
My long-term goal is still to become a founder one day and launch my own project. But for now, I am going to work with an organization. That is also the reason why I have been a little inactive on the Hive blockchain.
But now, I am going to set new targets. I want to grow more and more Hive Power, because I don’t have to sell my Hive tokens anymore.
This is the section where I will share about the game I play on hive blockchain. In my terracore base I used 6 attacks today and the outcome to those attacks are shared in the screenshot below.
To be honest I was not expecting that much scrap loots from just 6 attacks but we got them for the first time and I am happy.
In the screenshot above is my daily rewards from Splinterlands and that is all I did in the games from hive blockchain today.
